A few days ago, my wife received an email from Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia stated that she is invited to sit for the Peperiksaan Online Memasuki Perkidmatan Awam (PSEE) Pembantu Tadbir (Perkeranian/Operasi) Gred N19 or in English “Public Service Examination”. For a person who keeps on waiting to be called for this opportunity for quite a long time, it is definitely a very good and surprising news.
I believe anyone who are very interested in joining the civil service know that applicants have to go through a shortlisting process. One of it is the online exam. Every level of jobs in the civil service has their own examination. In my wife’s case, she is currently applying for a clerical job that requires a Sijil Pendidikan Malaysia (SPM) holder. So, the grade is N19. N is referring to administration work (if I am not mistaken).
